Dan completed his Bikram's Yoga training and certification directly under Bikram Choudhury in Los Angeles, California in 2001 and began teaching around the Greater Vancouver area immediately thereafter.
Involved in athletics his whole life, Dan has a love for physical fitness and a passion for personal achievement. From his previous career as a golf professional, he has extensive teaching experience, a solid understanding of body movement and a strong appreciation for dedication and its rewards. Most importantly, Dan has personally experienced the alleviation of chronic physical pain through Bikram's Yoga and has intimate firsthand knowledge of its power to heal.
Through his calm, yet concise and enlightening instructional style, Dan helps students of all levels to safely and effectively explore the program's challenging poses. He encourages participants to incorporate the positive principles of Bikram Yoga into their lives beyond the warm walls of the Yoga studio.
